How can I open an IncaMail message?

IncaMail messages sent with the delivery type Confidential can be opened without registering an IncaMail account.

If your email address belongs to a domain that is linked to an IncaMail-MGI subscription (IncaMail for the Mail Client), you can view confidential messages directly in your mail client (e.g., Outlook) without additional verification.

Opening an IncaMail message without an IncaMail account

1. In your inbox, you have a message with (Secured by IncaMail) in the subject line
   
2. When you open it, you will see a virtual envelope with the sender's address. You will also see the Read button. If you have never received an IncaMail message before, the text on the envelope will be displayed in 4 languages.
   📝Note: The "Read" button is valid for 90 days.
   
3. When you click on the Read button, the following window will open:
   
4. Click on Receive confirmation link.
5. You will then receive an email with a link to open your IncaMail message (from team@incamail.com). If you do not receive the email within a few minutes, you can click Resend or check your spam folder.
   
6. Click on Open message. This will open the content of the message. 
   📝Note: The "Open message" link is only valid for a short time, but can be requested again. 
   

Opening an IncaMail message when an IncaMail account exists

IncaMail messages with the delivery types Personal and Registered can only be opened if you have registered an IncaMail account. If you try to open such a message without an existing account, you can directly register an account:

If you have already registered an IncaMail account, follow these steps to open personal and registered messages:

1. In your inbox, you have a message with (Secured by IncaMail) in the subject line
   
2. When you open it, you will see a virtual envelope with the sender's address. You will also see the Read button. If you have never received an IncaMail message before, the text on the envelope will be displayed in 4 languages.
   📝Note: The "Read" button is valid for 90 days.
   
3. When you click on the Read button, the following window will open:
   
4. Enter your IncaMail login credentials and click Login.
5. The content of the message will be displayed in your browser.

How to open IncaMail messages after 90 days have passed

1. Locate the file "IncaMail.html"
2. The file is located above the virtual envelope in your email.
3. Open the file "IncaMail.html"
   • Option 1: Double-click the file with the left mouse button.
   • Option 2: Right-click the file and select Open or Open with from the context menu.
4. The message will open and you can read it.

📝Note: Only delete IncaMail messages from your inbox after you have saved the relevant information. After deletion, you can no longer open the IncaMail message, as the Read link is only valid for 90 days. Make sure to save your important information in time to ensure access to the content.
